Timeline

We are looking for new company/organization/government partners to join Apprenticeship Randolph. If you are interested, contact Stacey Miller 336-318-4958 or swmiller@randolph.edu.  We have opportunities for your company to offer youth apprenticeship in Automotive Technology, Information Technology and Manufacturing Technology and are always open to discussing other areas.

Pre-Apprentices take RCC Summer Classes

Pre-Apprenticeship Work at Company Sponsor

(up to 40 hours a week, $14 per hour/6 weeks; no seat time pay until signed apprentice and high school diploma)

Company makes Apprenticeship Offers to Student

By July 23, 2027

Apprenticeship Offers Accepted/Declined by Student

By July 27, 2027 (If accepted, high school grads must apply for RCC using the CCP to AR form and have transcripts sent to RCC. Upon completion, apprentice will be registered for Fall classes. If offer is declined, we encourage you to make an appointment with RCC’s career counselors to enroll and begin taking classes in the field you desire.)

2027 Signing Ceremony & Graduation of 2024 cohort

(Students start Fall Semester with a year 1 wage increase to $15.50-$16.50 per hour (H.S. Grads work 32 hours a week or as many as possible with work/RCC schedules; H.S. Seniors work up to 20 hours a week or as many as possible with work/high school/RCC schedules, no seat time pay until you have a high school diploma)
